The College of Wooster and Off Campus Studies are monitoring the recent political unrest in Thailand. We will continue to monitor travel advisory notices published by the United States Department of State, including the Overseas Security Advisory Committee (OSAC) in order to make informed decisions regarding the safety of our students, faculty and staff participating on the Winter Break 2014 Wooster in Thailand/Burma Program. At this point, the program is expected to proceed as planned, pending further developments. Off Campus Studies will continue to work with all of our in-country providers, travel agents, insurance companies, and airlines in order to obtain the most up-to-date safety information.
The application process for Off Campus Studies is not yet open. Submission of applications will not be available until winter break. If you have questions regarding studying Off Campus, please attend an OCS 101 Session and or email the Director, Kate Patch.
1) Attend an OCS 101 Session (preferably) prior to meeting with the OCS Director. Students may attend at any time - no prior registration is necessary.
For Fall 2013 (Beginning September 10), OCS 101 meetings are held in Babcock Formal Lounge on:
2) Make an appointment with the Director of OCS for a one-on-one advising appointment. Walk-in appointments are available on Tuesdays from 10:00am - 1:30pm and Thursdays from 11:00am - 2:00pm.
3) Talk with your academic advisor about off-campus study, and how it will fit into your educational plan.

5) Apply! Complete applications for off-campus study are due by February 1st of the year preceding OCS. Application instructions for 2014-15 OCS will be available in Fall 2013.
