It is a true honor to be the Associate Director of Counseling Services here at The College of Wooster.

I am an Independently Licensed Therapist and Licensed Clinical Supervisor with the Ohio Board. I am an alum of The Ohio State University, where I double majored in psychology and Sociology and then completed my Master’s of Social Work at the University of Akron.

I started my career working on a suicide hotline based in the Columbus area which started my passion for working with folks with severe mental health concerns. After moving back to the Wooster area, I obtained a position in a specialized children’s unit in a community mental health center, working closely with children and adolescents experiencing severe behavioral, developmental, and mental health concerns. I then fulfilled a majority of my career, prior to the college, working as an Emergency Services Therapist for the local crisis team.

I have been working at The College of Wooster since 2017 and continue to be very passionate for working closely with our students. I have the pleasure of serving as Ethical Advisor for the student organization Mind Matters, as well as, providing individual counseling to students. I highly value the therapeutic relationship with students and strive to meet everyone that comes to see me where they are in their current struggles, and tailor my clinical approaches to specific needs of students based off multicultural awareness and sensitivity, different socioeconomic backgrounds, and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

I have a genuine interest in helping students through the most challenging situations, as well as helping students through the struggles of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, body image, identity, relationships, mood disorders and personality disorders. Through the therapeutic process, I practice from a place of sincerity, and only have the highest hopes that students feel they are provided a safe therapeutic environment for them to truly explore their unique and individual goals so that they can be successful and explore life to the best of their potential.
