Thanks to a 2008 Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Undergraduate Science Education Program award, The College of Wooster is able to offer two summer research programs for currently enrolled Wooster students.
The HHMI Summer Research Scholars will be hired full time for 8 weeks. The students will be required to attend weekly meetings. These positions will be open to currently enrolled first, second or third year students who will be enrolled next academic year (2013-14) at The College of Wooster as sophomores, juniors or seniors.
The application deadline has passed. The applications have been forwarded to the appropriate faculty members for their decision. Some faculty members may ask for students to come in for an interview. Students should hear back about their application by Spring Break. Students will need to accept or decline the position by April 1, 2013. For more information, contact Professor Dean Fraga, HHMI Program Director.
