STEM Mentor Program

The STEM Mentor program pairs first-year and sophomore students interested in majoring in STEM with experienced STEM majors who are successful both in and out of the classroom, to help the introductory students navigate and succeed in STEM.

A STEM Mentor supports and encourages their mentee to learn about STEM resources, clubs, activities, and opportunities at Wooster. A STEM Mentor can also help you manage your academic, extracurricular, and social life, network by introducing you to faculty, staff members, and friends, and just be a friend or someone you can go to with the knowledge that they have "been there" too.

If you want to be paired with a STEM Mentor or are interested in serving as a STEM Mentor, email the STEM Zone Coordinator, Kara Melrose.
