Meet the challenge
Wooster’s faculty members have high expectations of all their students. They’ll challenge you to develop your intellectual talents, academic interests, and creativity to the fullest.
Some colleges and universities boast of honors programs, where a select group of students enjoy small classes, research opportunities, and close, one-on-one engagement with faculty who encourage them to think for themselves and explore new ideas. The College of Wooster provides that experience to all its students.
From First-Year Seminar, a class of no more than 15 students, with a professor who is also your academic adviser, through research opportunities that begin as soon as the second semester of first year, to your senior Independent Study project, your four years at Wooster will push you to think more critically, formulate arguments logically, and write clearly and persuasively.
