College Mourns the Passing of Ken Plusquellec

WOOSTER, Ohio, Aug. 12, 2011 – The College of Wooster mourns
the passing of Kenneth R. Plusquellec, who died Tuesday at his home in Wooster.
Plusquellec, a 1957 graduate of the college, returned to his alma mater in 1967
to serve as assistant director of admissions. He was named associate dean of
students in 1970, and dean of students in 1975, a position he held until his
retirement in 2001.
“Ken Plusquellec touched the lives of generations of Wooster
students,” said President Grant Cornwell, “and I know they and his many
colleagues and friends all join me in keeping Louise and the rest of the
Plusquellec family in their thoughts and prayers.”
A memorial service in celebration of Plusquellec’s life will
be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 122 E. North St., in Wooster on Tuesday,
Aug. 23, at 7 p.m.
