African Students Union

This club is a society, which has the aim of bringing together African Students in a community that is foreign to them. It also serves as a place where African students can share their individual unique cultures amongst themselves and other College Students. The club holds educational and recreational meetings during the semester with activities including Africa Jeopardy, student led discussions, and dance sessions.

Every year, the club organizes Africa Week which consists of seminars, a fashion and craft shows and a dinner with a variety of foods from the continent which allows the College and the Wooster Community to explore the world of the African students. The group is not confined to students originating from Africa and the African Diaspora (a.k.a the Caribbean); in fact we welcome all those who are truly interested in learning more about the continent and what it means to be truly African.
