The Publicity Room is generously provided by Campus Council funding for student organization use and is located in the Student Activities Office in Lowry Center. The Publicity Room is available for student organizations to use to create publicity for their upcoming events.
Supplies must be used in the Student Activities Office during normal business hours: 8:30am-7pm Monday-Friday during the semester.
Provided Supplies include:
- Butcher paper
- poster board
- construction paper
- paint pens
- colored pencils
- Ellison Die Cut Machine
- 3 hole punchers
Student organizations can also advertise events for FREE in The Pot.
- Type or artfully compose with black ink on white paper and no larger than 4" by 5" (smaller and horizontal is preferred).
- Submit ad in one of the following acceptable formats: pdf, jpeg, or doc.
- Attach ad file and email it to the POT editor. Be sure to include a contact name, email address, and phone number with every ad, and indicate the dates you want the ad to run.
The POT is printed Mondays and Thursdays. Deadlines for ad submissions are 5 pm every Sunday and Wednesday.
Any submission, questions, comments, or suggestions should be directed to the POT Editor.
Simple email will not be accepted as you are responsible for creating your ads.
Wooster Headline News
Wooster Headline News (WHN) is another free place to advertise events. Wooster Headline News provides a way to post announcements and "spread the word" to the campus community. Postings must be approved before they are displayed. The approval process typically occurs several times throughout the day. Learn how to post to WHN and spread the word about your events!
