9-15-21: Campus Community Message

Dear Students, Colleagues and Families,

I hope you have had a good start to the week.  I’m writing to share the link to our dashboard, which is updated with the full results of last week’s COVID testing and with isolation and quarantine information.   We had no positive test results last week, and our wastewater testing from dorms also showed a good campus public health situation.  Our overall campus vaccination rate (those who have completed their full vaccination series) is now 92%, and continues to rise.  Tremendous thanks to all of our staff who are leading and supporting our campus public health strategies.

As I shared last week, the COVID case and hospitalization rates in our region are increasing rapidly, so it is very important to continue to follow safety practices both on and off campus.  We require everyone on campus to wear masks when indoors in shared spaces, and strongly recommend wearing masks in off-campus indoor locations outside your household as well.  Your actions to protect yourself and others are crucial.

My thanks to everyone in the Wooster community for your care for one another and work to keep our campus running fully and safely.

Best,

Sarah Bolton
President
