Bhakti Mamtora

Bhakti Mamtora examines religious subjectivity and community formation in nineteenth-century Gujarat through an analysis of text and praxis in the Swaminarayan Sampraday. Her research interests include: South Asian Religions, Hindu Traditions, Vernacularization, and Book History and Print Culture in Colonial India.
