Kenneth Silverman joined the College of Wooster in Fall 2022 as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Classics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in August 2020 with a dissertation on the Homeric poems (“The Mind of Homer: A Study in Homeric Physiology and Thought”). He graduated with a BA in Classical Archaeology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2010, and with an MA in Classics from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2013. His research interests include Homer, Virgil, Archaic Greek poetry, Ancient Philosophy, and the history of science and philosophy—in particular, the history of dream psychology.
