Areas of Interest

Rebekah joined the Faust Group at the College of Wooster in fall 2021. She obtained a B.S. in chemistry and biology at Carlow University in 2015. After graduation she worked at Environmental Services Laboratory before attending graduate school at The Ohio State University where she received her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry under the guidance of Dr. Susan Olesik in 2021. During her graduate studies she explored using supercritical carbon dioxide as a green solvent and for the fabrication of sorbents for solid phase extraction. In the Faust Group, her research involves the identification of pesticides in rainwater samples using mass spectrometry.
