Why Wooster

Wooster offers students the opportunity to work with some of the best educators and mentors in the country. Our faculty exude great passion for their respective fields and provide an outstanding learning experience for their students.

Additionally, the city of Wooster is a vibrant town that provides many culinary, entertainment and educational options. It is a great place to live and a great place to spend four years of college!

Advice for Applicants

Visit campus and make an event of it. Talk with students, staff and faculty while you are on campus. Be sure to sit in on a class. Eat the food, both on and off campus. Give yourself time to walk around campus and town by yourself or just with your family. Soak it all in and visualize yourself as part of the community!

Favorite Wooster Tradition

The College of Wooster Pipe Band. I have a great love for Scottish culture and history, so it is great to be at a place where I can hear the pipes.

Favorite Place in Wooster

The Wooster branch of the Wayne County Library. I love reading stories to my daughters while sitting on the cushioned benches in the children's section.
