Through his role at Wooster, Dario seeks to provide meaningful and engaging Jewish experiences and resources, guide Hillel, Wooster’s Jewish student group, and collaborate on programming that explores the connections between diverse identities.
He has a personal passion for helping students explore their Jewish identities, having previously served as the Youth Liaison for the Windsor Jewish Federation (Windsor, ON). Through his synagogue and academic community work, Dario has endeavored to build bridges between communities and advance the causes of acceptance and understanding.
Dario received his rabbinic ordination from Jewish Spiritual Leaders Institute (New York, NY). He currently serves as a rabbi for Congregation Ohev Tzedek - Shaarei Torah in Youngstown, OH.
He is active in a number of community pursuits, including serving as a member of the Youngstown Board of Education and as a Jewish chaplain at Ohio State Penitentiary. In his spare time, Dario loves to travel and experience different cultures and religions.
