Research Interests

Sarah Mirza is a cultural historian of pre-Islamic Arabia and early Islam, with a focus on the material culture of writing. She is currently working on two books: one on pre-Islamic Arabian legal tradition, and one on shoes and poetry in pre-Islamic Arabia.
