Born and raised in the Red Desert of Wyoming, Zach Bath grew up exploring the wilderness and traveling with his family. Zach received his M.F.A. in printmaking from Northern Illinois University and a B.A. from the University of Wyoming. Focused in traditional print mediums such as woodcut, engraving, dry-point, and lithography, Zach’s work invokes a universal dialogue informed by the disparities within normative culture and the repercussions of aberrant social authority and environmental cataclysm. As a member of both the Southern Graphics Council International and the Mid America Print Council, he has participated in and organized numerous exhibitions and print portfolio exchanges across the country in addition to being an alumni of The Little Bear Hill Post-Digital Artist Residency in The Dalles, Oregon. Zach has exhibited work in Portland, Chicago, and Las Vegas as well as China and Japan.
