Table Tennis ClubThe overall mission of the club is two fold: To foster enjoyment and appreciation of the sport of table tennis, and to give students a fun outlet from academics. We usually strive for a happy medium between developing tactics/patterns and just having fun. Practice is held on campus at the Scot Center. In recent years there have been two tournaments per year, 1 in the Fall, 1 early in second semester. A commitment to tournament play is not required for participation in the club, nor is extensive experience with table tennis. The club is open to beginners and more advanced players. For players who are brand new to the game, the club can supply paddles (both shakehand and penhold). This is in keeping with the club’s mission of fostering a stress free environment where students can simply enjoy the game of table tennis.
