The project’s goal was to explore and implement micro-benchmarks designed to identify hardware components of an unknown computer system. The team developed a series of low-level computer programs that collect performance metrics of specific hardware components. Additionally, analytical algorithms were developed that use the collected data to identify the characteristics of targeted hardware. The final deliverables included a detailed written report to the client summarizing all findings, as well as a code repository containing the developed programs and algorithms.
