A new partnership between The College of Wooster and the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business will provide expanded opportunities in graduate business education for Wooster students and recent alumni.
Eligible students can choose from the following degrees in the one-year program: Master of Accounting, Master of Management, Master of Supply Chain Management, and Master of Business Analytics.
“We are pleased to provide our students with this streamlined path toward a graduate degree that builds upon their Wooster foundation,” said Ashley Kister, provost and chief academic officer at Wooster. “This new partnership connects students to opportunities at a nationally and globally recognized institution producing graduates ready to take on positions at top companies around the world.”
Kister added that the partnership will reduce barriers to admission and offer personalized guidance. The admission benefits to eligible Wooster students and recent alumni include an application fee waiver, guaranteed admissions interview for all applicants who meet the program and academic requirements, and scholarship consideration for both merit- and need-based funding
To participate, students must: be a current senior or Wooster alumni, graduating within the past three years, meet the academic and program prerequisites for the master’s program to which they apply, and submit all required application materials by the posted program deadline.
The University of Michigan partnership is one of a collection of Wooster partnerships providing leadership opportunities and career preparation through leading institutions, including Case Western Reserve University, The Ohio State University, and the University of Rochester. More information for Wooster students interested in business advising, internships, and graduate school partnerships is available on the College website and details on other pre-professional programs are also available.
