Multicultural Stoling Ceremony

The Multicultural Stoling Ceremony, hosted jointly by International Student Services (ISS) and Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA), celebrates the achievements of graduating US students of color, international students, and global nomad students.

Each graduating senior selects a “stoler” to present their stole (or scarf). This person can be a member of Wooster’s faculty, a staff member, a student peer or a member of the student’s family who has made a significant impact on their time at Wooster. As the stoles are presented, a short paragraph written by the student about their stoler is read. It is a very moving ceremony – we hope you can join us!

The ceremony takes place annually during Commencement Weekend.
