Are you a student who is adapting to using English in an academic setting? The Learning Center's ELL Coordinator is available for individual tutoring and consultation appointments to improve your English writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills. Set up an appointment online.

We offer ELL Writing Studio in the fall semester. It is a workshop-style course that teaches you the skills you need to write your academic papers. To talk about if this course is right for you, contact Carla Reyes.

Summer Preparation

Our Wooster International Immersion Seminar (WIIS) is two-and-a half-week program is designed to intensely prepare international students for the transition into an American college setting. Students will develop academic, social, and cultural skills and insights that will help them make deep and early connections with their college classes and community. Concentrations in Academic English and Critical Academic Skills are available to help you prepare for a successful first year!
