Choosing a Program
Off-Campus Study offers a variety of programs for Wooster students. Depending on your area of study, area of interest, and available time, you can find a program that works for you!
The deadline to apply for off-campus study for the 2020-2021 school year (either fall or spring semester) is March 1, 2020
Semester-long programs are the most popular type of program offered by OCS. They are found in over 60 countries all over the world, and the majority are hosted by third party providers, such as IES or SIT. These programs vary greatly by discipline and by structure, so be sure to attend an OCS 101 event to find out more!
Wooster students will apply through Wooster to be approved for a summer study abroad program. We do not list each individual summer study abroad program on our database, however, the summer study abroad application can be found there. Students should look at the study abroad providers we partner with to find summer programs:
- Arcadia Summer Study Abroad
- IES Summer Study Abroad
- SIT Summer Study Abroad
- DIS Summer Study Abroad
- IFSA Summer Study Abroad
Wooster TREK programs
TREK programs are unique to Wooster, and are led and taught by Wooster faculty members. These programs have specific themes and run anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks in duration. The number and locations of TREK programs offered varies by semester. These programs can be done in addition to a semester-long program, or instead of one if going off-campus for an entire semester is not practical.
