Packages and Pickup

Please allow 24 hours for us to process due to high volume.

If someone is sending you packages or mail, be sure to inform them of the proper format for sending mail to you. The proper format is as follows:

[C-Box Number] ( “C” stands for “campus” )**

**If your student has not been issued a C-Box number yet please omit this information.**

This form of address is to be used on all mail and packages sent to you. Please include your middle initial as many students have the same first and last names.

Please do not address mail to “P. O. Box ____” as this is not a post office box. Room numbers, residence hall names, nicknames, illegible handwriting, mail in the name of a parent, or missing box numbers, will also delay delivery of your mail or it may be returned to sender, if it cannot be identified.

When the package reaches The College of Wooster and is processed, you will receive an email from postoffice@wooster.edu (emails from carriers like UPS, FedEx, and Amazon are not an indication your package is ready for pick up). Please allow 24 hours for us to process due to high volume.

You must have your College of Wooster ID or government issued ID to pick up items at the Mail and Package Center. Students may pick up their package Monday-Friday 9 am- 5pm and 11 am- 3pm on Saturdays. Hours are subject to change during break times.

Because of limited storage facilities, it is recommended that packages be picked up within five business days from the date received. Items may be returned to the sender if not picked up. During move in times we will keep packages for longer. If you have special needs during summer break, please see the staff at the Mail and Package Center (MPC).

Refrigerated items MUST be picked up within 2 days of arrival to our office to avoid food spoiling.

The College of Wooster Mail and Package Center is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. This includes items that have the incorrect address.
