Westminster Presbyterian Church is located on the campus of The College of Wooster. It is the College’s Congregation in Residence and maintains the relationship through a memorandum of agreement between the College and the Congregation.
Westminster tends to attract those from our community who have felt disenfranchised in one way or another by traditional churches and also students of The College of Wooster looking for a “safe” place to explore their faith and to express themselves.
The informal setting in the Westminster Church House on the campus of The College of Wooster distinguishes Westminster from other churches in our area. The congregation embraces the “house” metaphor for their community with their sense of hospitality and desire to be a welcoming and inclusive church for all.
As the Congregation in Residence, the congregation partners with Religious & Spiritual Life on a number of programs as well as seeks to be intentional in its relationships with members of the college community.
