Wooster placed on The Princeton Review’s 2023 “Best Value College” list

The College of Wooster has again been named a Best Value College by The Princeton Review, a distinction that shows the value of Wooster’s return on investment with ratings based on more than 40 data points that covered academics, affordability, and career preparation. Wooster provides top academics and strong career prospects for graduates at an affordable cost. The Princeton Review selected 209 private colleges and universities in the United States for its 2023 Best Value list.

In addition to being named a Best Value College, Wooster was also recognized for connecting its students with experiential learning opportunities by ranking #11 on The Princeton Review’s list of Top 20 Best Schools for Making an Impact (Private Schools) and #14 on its list for Top 20 Best Schools for Internships (Private Schools). Each of those distinctions are based on the outcomes of student surveys.

The Princeton Review’s rewards schools that provide students opportunities in the areas of community service, student government, sustainability efforts, and on-campus student engagement, along with the accessibility of internship placement outside the classroom.

Wooster also earned praise on The Princeton Review’s lists for Lots of Race/Class Interaction (#7), Most Accessible Professors (#8), Best College Library (#8), Best Classroom Experience (#13), and Professors Get High Marks (#18).

Wooster has appeared on The Princeton Review list multiple times since the “Best Value Colleges” was first published in 2004.
