Wooster’s fall annual report highlights a year shaped by strength, purpose, and connection

A representation of the Wooster magazine Annual Report 2024-25 cover image features the iconic moment when the The College of Wooster Pipe Band leads the team down to the field.

In the first year of The College of Wooster’s Framing Our Future strategic action plan, the student experience drew new energy through continuous and evolving mentorship opportunities and the bonds built where students live and learn together.

The 2024–25 Annual Report edition of Wooster magazine highlights a year of meaningful progress and shared achievement across the College. From new endowed funds honoring Professors Ralph Bangham and Nancy Ditmer to the renovation of Douglass Hall, the stories inside show how Wooster invests in its people, programs, and places to strengthen the student experience.

Among the highlights, the report features new endowed funds honoring beloved professors Ralph Bangham of biology and Nancy Ditmer of music. Readers will also meet members of the Class of 2025 as they prepare for graduate study, research, and meaningful careers. Learn more about new minors in climate studies and in humanities, arts, and creative computing and how they fit naturally into disciplines across Wooster’s rigorous academic curriculum. The renovated Douglass Hall comes to life through student perspectives on the excitement of living and learning in the renewed space. The edition also includes photos from Reunion Weekend and profiles of Wooster’s newest Distinguished Alumni Award recipients.
