As Wooster closely monitors the COVID-19 situation and follows guidance from local, state and national health organizations, the Office of Admissions invites you to explore our vibrant campus in-person and virtually. Please see your options below. You can also read more about our response and updates related to COVID-19.
Individual Campus Visit
Register for an individual visit and take in the beauty of our campus during a 50-minute walking tour with a current Wooster student. Currently, the campus tour is primarily outdoors but will include an opportunity to see a typical residence hall room. You may also select to interview with an admissions representative so we can learn more about your interests and talents while practicing safe social distancing. To prepare for your visit, be sure to check out the Admissions Visitor FAQs.
WOO! Wednesday: Virtual Visit Day, August 12 at 7 p.m. ET
Our one-hour virtual visit program includes a brief introduction of the College followed by a lively discussion between a Wooster professor and students (including time to answer your questions!). We encourage all ages of high school students and their family members to attend. Explore campus life even further by adding the 4:00 or 8:00 p.m. live virtual campus tour to your schedule. Live from Wooster: Guided Virtual Tour
Join a live virtual tour of Wooster led by two current tour guides. You'll have the chance to explore campus, ask questions and learn more about our global community. These sessions are intentionally kept small to allow for interactions and Q&A.
Our virtual information session provides an overview of Wooster and our vibrant campus community. An admissions counselor and current student lead the discussion, and they will leave plenty of time for questions and answers.
Virtual Admissions Interview
This 30-minute admissions conversation provides time for you to share more about your interests and experiences, and to ask us all your pressing Wooster questions. For rising seniors, this interview experience is the perfect opportunity to make a connection with our team so we may best support you through the college search and application process. Although not required for admission, the interview is a requirement to be eligible for our top merit scholarship, the College Scholar Award.
Unable to connect with us online? We're happy to give you a call at your convenience. Please email the Office of Admissions or give us a call at 330-263-2322, and we will set up a time with you for an individual phone conversation.
If you missed one of our live virtual events, be sure to check out our recordings on YouTube. Our College Search Workshop Week playlist gives you tips and tricks for navigating the college search and application process.
You can also hear from The Wooster Voice student-run newspaper as they interview professors who share insight into departmental stories and strengths. Check out that playlist to hear from professors across campus.
For the safety of our campus community and future students, we've put large-group visit programing on hold. We'll update you on plans and potential dates for the future.
