As the Learning Engagement Librarian, I work to develop a dynamic library and information literacy curriculum to support our diverse community of learners. I consider critical information literacy to be at the center of my pedagogy, and I use my instruction to ensure that students understand not only the "hows," but also the "whys" of the systems that create information and affect our daily lives. My research currently focuses on community-engaged approaches to misinformation prevention, particularly on college and university campuses.
