Educational Technology
Jon graduated from Wooster with a B.A. and obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from The Ohio State University. His dissertation was on an extension of one of Ramanujan's identities to multiple basic hypergeometric series. Jon's teaching interests include Combinatorics, Graph Theory and Cryptography. His Educational Technology interests include blogging, structured markup languages, video conferencing, distance learning platforms, personalized learning platforms, 3D modeling, virtual environments, Massively Multi-player On-line Games, serious games, gamification, and mobile computing. He is also in charge of the College's Course Management System and Blogging/Personal Website System.
