Biography
Kathleen R. Kovarik is a Costume Designer, Technician, and Shop Manager who earned her M.F.A. in Costume Design from Kent State University. She earned her B.A. in Fine Arts and Japanese language from Mount Union College (now University). Previously, she was the Costume Shop Supervisor for the University of Memphis. She has worked professionally as a designer, technician, and wardrobe/dresser at theaters in Ohio, Colorado, Utah, and Tennessee. The thing she loves most about theatre is finding creative ways to solve the unique problems each production presents. Her specialties are researching and illustrating. She loves history, dolls, and reading in her spare time.
