Sean Lawry

Sean Lawry has been a pipe band snare drummer for 27 years. Originally starting lessons at the age of 10 under Michael Crawley from the 87th Cleveland Pipe Band, Sean also studied under Jim Kilpatrick, Reid Maxwell, Drew Duthart, Gordon Brown, John Fisher, and many more. Sean competed with the 87th Cleveland Pipe Band (Gr. 5-2), Windsor Police Pipe Band (Gr. 2-1), 78th Fraser Highlanders Gr. 1, and currently with the Great Lakes Pipe Band Gr. 2.

Sean has been teaching drumming for 23 years, 9 of those have been at the College of Wooster. Sean was attracted to the College of Wooster because of the school's rich Scottish Art's tradition.
