Program Overview

What can you do with a political science degree?

Political science explores how governments work, how public policy is shaped, and how people influence political systems at the local, national, and international levels. You'll examine questions about power, justice, leadership, public service, and civic engagement while developing the research, writing, and analytical skills needed to understand today's most pressing issues.

At Wooster, you'll study international relations, U.S. politics, comparative politics, and political theory while working closely with professors who are accomplished scholars and dedicated mentors. Whether your interests lead to law, government, business, nonprofit leadership, or graduate school, political science provides a strong foundation for understanding and engaging with the world around you.
