Mary Cornelius

Mary began her service with the department of chemistry December 1, 2008, as the part-time secretary. She assumed the role of administrative coordinator, January 4, 2016, after the retirement of Diane Rossey. She also provides administrative support for the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Program and SSI (STEM Success Initiative). Her main responsibilities in the department include maintaining the departmental budget, updating the webpages, ordering and maintaining supplies, producing the annual report, publicizing seminars, coordinating special activities, and coordinating departmental awards. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a specialization in Public Relations and a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, both from Bowling Green State University. Prior to joining the department, she worked for The College of Wooster’s residence life office. Her previous experience includes working in student activities and admissions.
