From Manuscript to Market: Publishing Insights from Fiction Author Dottie Sines

The estimated percentage of novels written that get traditionally published (i.e., not self-published and not published by a paid publisher) is commonly thought to be in the single digits. College of Wooster staff member Dottie Sines devoted years to the effort, resulting in her novel, Where the Stars Cross, recently being published.

On Thursday, November 7, Dottie will discuss her journey and share her insights: the surprising things she learned about the art of fiction writing, how to approach literary agents and publishers, and – something on which she now wearily considers herself an expert – what not to do!

Join Wooster's own award-winning author for a conversation from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the CoRE Cube inside Andrews Library on the College of Wooster campus at 1140 Beall Avenue. She will be happy to sign a copy of her book following the presentation.
