The goal of this project was to measure the impact of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in Wayne and Holmes Counties. To accomplish this, we reviewed the literature, conducted focus groups, developed a survey instrument, and collected data from families of children who are currently enrolled in the program. We analyzed the data, wrote a business report detailing our findings, and presented them to the United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties. In addition, we developed a tool kit that other comparably-sized United Way organizations can use to measure outcomes in their communities.
