It helps develop cultural competencies that are increasingly relevant in a changing world. At Wooster, you’ll have opportunities in 60 countries, such as Costa Rica, Italy, South Africa, and Thailand to name a few, along with countless other opportunities in the United States.
The Global Engagement Office (GEO) offers many different types of programs that will help you meet different personal, professional, and academic goals. All of them have their advantages, so it is up to you to decide which program type best suits your needs.
Internships

We’ll help to connect you with full- or part-time internships that align with your academic pursuits and have clear goals and expectations. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply for funding for internship experiences through our APEX Center.

Experiential Learning
Experiential Learning at Wooster incorporates a range of activities including internships, volunteering, field experiences, job shadowing, alternative spring break trips, mentored consulting projects, and collaborative research in our local community and around the world. Staff in APEX and various departments, along with faculty, will work to guide you to experiential learning opportunities.
