Angila Tracey is the Secretary of the College and Director of Administration of The College of Wooster, reporting to the president.

In this role, Tracey serves as a member of cabinet and provides primary executive-level staffing to the president, including project management and reporting on presidential initiatives, institutional projects, budgets, compliance, and oversight of the Office of the President’s staff. As the official corporate secretary, she also coordinates meetings of the Board of Trustees and its committees, manages and communicates information and materials to board members, and ensures accurate and timely board records.

Tracey worked as Operations Manager in the College’s Facilities Department since 2015, where she served as the primary contact to campus, contractors, and service personnel; managed all electronic, phone, verbal, and written work requests; oversaw transportation requests, staff, and the college fleet; served as the primary administrator and training expert for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); and prepared numerous compliance and Board reports throughout the year.

She also serves on critical campus-wide task forces and committees, including Campus Master Planning, Campus Art Working Group, Community Health Taskforce, and the Emergency Response Team. She also played a key role on recently concluded search committees for Wooster’s first Vice President for Human Resources and Director of Campus Sustainability.

Tracey is very active in her local community, where she co-founded Growing Mohican Families, an organization responsible for the design, development, fundraising, and planning of a new playground in the community. She recently completed a five-year term as a board member for the Loudonville Perrysville School Foundation, and prior to that was a member of the board for the Mohican Area Community Fund, where she planned events and raised annual dollars for non-profits within Ashland County.

She holds a Bachelor’s in education from The Ohio State University and was a licensed pharmaceutical technician for 16 years prior.
