Peace Corps Process Explained

Come find out more about the application process and the recent experiences of Wooster students! A lunchtime conversation sponsored by the Global Impacts Pathway, featuring Thomas Pitney who will soon begin his Peace Corps service in Lesotho.

We’ll discuss the entire arc, from first contacts with a Peace Corps recruiter, through the application process, including position/country selection and medical clearance. We also talk about preparing for departure and the challenges and opportunities of serving in the Peace Corps. There will be plenty of time for questions and general conversation. Designed for students with a potential interest in the Peace Corps, this session might also be helpful for students considering other international service opportunities.
