Job Description:
The College of Wooster seeks applications for a part-time Highland Dance instructor beginning January, 2025. Primary duties would include:
- Teach individual lessons in the techniques of Highland Dancing
- Serve as Director of the Highland Dancers ensemble
- Create and teach Highland Dance choreography
- Maintain Highland Dancer-specific inventory, including uniforms and accessories. Order new items as needed through the Music Department
- Coordinate with Pipe Band Instructor for musical requirements for dancers
Qualifications
Prior college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a successful and ongoing record of dance instruction.
