New optional opportunities allow students to bring together academic interests, hands-on experiences, and career exploration for credit.

Experiential Learning

Learning in all its forms is central to a Wooster education.

We'd love to meet you!

Wooster is a place where every student has the opportunity to do exciting and valuable mentored research, a place where students feel comfortable being themselves and are fully engaged in campus life, both academically and socially.

Virtual Campus Tour

We’d love to have you visit us in person — and hope you will — but if you can’t make it to campus just yet, this tour will give you a good sense of the place.

Spring Open House Days

We invite you and your family to enjoy a spring day with Wooster’s spirited students and staff.  All ages of high school students are encouraged to attend. As our guest, you will enjoy a tour of campus, a candid student panel discussion, meeting staff from our Advising, Planning, and Experiential Learning center (APEX), and an optional admissions and financial aid information session. Depending on current campus health guidelines, weekday events will include a chance to attend class.

Saturday, April 23, 9:00 a.m.

Scot Saturdays

You’ll interact with more than a dozen Wooster students as they lead an extended tour of campus. Guests will see classrooms, the Scot Center  athletic facility, and our Collaborative Research Environment and APEX (Wooster’s hub for academic advising, internships, off-campus study, and career planning).  The day includes optional lunch for visiting students.* This program is ideal for first-time visitors looking for a general introduction to Wooster.
