As a Shepherd Higher Education Consortium on Poverty (SHECP) intern and a Rural and Migrant Ministries intern, I facilitated online meetings, assisted in creating a scholarship program, and studied the causes, consequences and meanings of poverty in Poughkeepsie, New York.
