Fiske Guide Features Wooster Among Its Top 300 Schools

WOOSTER, Ohio – The Fiske Guide to Colleges commends The College of Wooster for its approach in teaching students how to think, not what to think, through a “research-based liberal arts curriculum” and for many other quality attributes, while listing Wooster among its 300 top schools in the 2021 edition, released earlier this month.
One of the leading college guidebooks, the Fiske Guide, now in its 37th year, is highly respected for including quotes from actual students, thus helping college-bound students find their best fit via an insider’s look at the top colleges and universities in the U.S., as well as Canada, Great Britain, and Ireland.
Wooster’s two-page summary features a rundown of the curriculum that steadily builds from first-year seminar to the distinctive Independent Study program.
