As Special Collections Librarian, I encourage our diverse students to explore the physical materiality of history by utilizing and handling the variety of primary sources in our archival and rare book collections. I am available for information literacy instruction visits for classes in my liaison areas, as well as hands-on experiences with Special Collections materials for any course. My research and work centers around community-based archives, ethical stewardship models, repatriation, oral history projects, and the how and why of whose voices are recorded and kept in archives and libraries.
