Local Leadership Forum
The Local Leadership Forum will feature individuals currently involved in or running for local positions such as the Wooster Mayor, City Council Members, and community representatives from areas like parks, housing and development, the library board, and local schools. We will also be inviting members from the League of Women Voters and be collaborating with Scot Council. Our goal is to create an engaging and nonpartisan space for students to learn more about the work local leaders do, why these roles matter, and how local governance connects to our everyday lives as students and community members. The forum will focus on the nature of these positions and their community impact, rather than campaign or policy advocacy.
