Wooster Jazz Ensemble

A performing organization that prepares and performs literature in the jazz idiom appropriate for large ensemble. Opportunity is given for composing, arranging, and improvisation. Three hours per week; fall and spring semesters. Membership is by audition. In recent years, the Jazz Ensemble has collaborated with guest artists Rodney Whitaker (bass), Stefon Harris (vibes), Dee Alexander (vocalist), and many others.

Jazz Combos

One to one and one-half hours per week. One-eighth course credit. Graded S/NC. Permission of instructor required. Annually. Fall and Spring
