Why Wooster
The students! Our student body is made up of thoughtful, curious students who are eager to take advantage of all the resources available at a liberal arts college. The students make the school such a vibrant place of learning and growth.
Advice for Applicants
Be yourself! It’s easy to get caught up in what your older sibling, parent, cousins, aunts, uncles, teachers, etc., looked for in a school and wrote in their applications. We want to get to know YOU! Try to cut through the noise and let your true self shine. College is your journey—and it all works itself out.
Favorite Wooster Tradition
The procession of students through Kauke Arch (the big archway building!) in one direction during their new student orientation, and in the opposite direction in their senior year. What a beautiful way to show the full-circle moment of both ends of a student’s experience!

Oak Hill Park, just north of campus, is a gorgeous park any time of year: visit in Spring/Summer for the native plants in bloom, Autumn when the leaves change, and Winter to go sledding and even cross-country skiing!
