Christine Dunson is an assistant director of residence life at The College of Wooster. Professionally, Christine comes to the College having most recently worked at the YWCA Greater Cleveland as the Manager of Case Management. Working largely with the permanent supportive housing initiative of the YWCA, Christine spent most of her time working alongside formerly homeless young adults, helping to identify their barriers to self-sufficiency and ensuring housing permanence moving forward. While Christine has left employment with the YWCA, their mission of eliminating racism and empowering women remains a key motivator in the work that she does.
A wildly relational collaborator, don’t be surprised if she shows up in your space to see how you can accomplish your work together! Christine has a passion for championing students and colleagues alike towards their purpose. She finds restoration sitting by the water, whether that be by the Great Lake Erie or the local swimming pool. In moving to Wooster, it is her hope to one day enter something into the county fair and to learn to play the bagpipes. She would also like to meet your dog.
