Stuart Franklin ’26 is an elementary education and religious studies major with minors in environmental studies and music. At Wooster, he served as president of the Jewish Student Organization and as intern team lead for the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life, helping lead initiatives that enrich Jewish life and strengthen multifaith understanding on campus and in the local community. A dedicated musician, Stuart is principal oboist of the Wooster Symphony Orchestra, woodwind section leader in the Scot Marching Band, and a multi-instrumentalist in several ensembles. His lifelong passion for environmental education, and for sharing that love with others, guided his Independent Study on how Jewish young adults cultivate connection and imagine sustainable futures in the Adamah Farm Fellowship. Franklin received the Christy Dixon Young Professional Award from the Environmental Education Council of Ohio and after graduation plans to begin his teaching career in Cleveland.
