Young Oh was born in Seoul, South Korea, where she began studying piano at the age of seven. From 2000 to 2005, she studied at Sunwha Arts School, and she also earned her first Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Gachon in Korea. After she moved to the USA in 2016, she studied at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, under Professor Alla Voskoboynikova. Young has recently earned her Master’s degree at Cleveland Institute of Music in Collaborative Piano, and studied with Anita Pontremoli.
