Join us as we celebrate International Education Week

The College of Wooster celebrates International Education Week (IEW) from November 3-8, 2025, concluding with the highly anticipated Culture Show on Saturday, November 8, in McGaw Chapel. Throughout the week, students will have the chance to immerse themselves in the rich diversity of cultures represented on our campus. IEW is a time to celebrate the unique perspectives and connections we all bring to our community and to foster meaningful cultural exchanges that strengthen our understanding of the world.

Film Screening: Dahomey

Join the Africana Studies department for a screening of Mati Diop’s film, Dahomey, winner of the Golden Bear at the 2024 Berlinale. In 2021, 26 objects from the Kingdom of Dahomey left Paris and were returned to present-day Benin. Through this historic event, the film reflects on how a nation receives artifacts taken from its ancestors, and how these objects might speak to a society that has transformed in their absence. The film sheds light on issues of self-determination and restitution. The film screening will be followed by a discussion. Food and drinks will be provided.
